Dec 1-5: DNA Sequencing
Fri, Dec 5: Students completed the Internet activity called “Black, Green, Blue, and Red: The Colors of DNA!”
Thurs, Dec 4: Students watched the film The Family that Walks on All Fours and were given the assignment to post a reflection about the film on the class blog by 11:59pm on Tues, Dec 9.
Wed, Dec 3: Students took a quiz over the DNA Extraction and Quantification lab. Mrs. Annee cancelled the quiz over DNA sequencing that was supposed to take place on Monday, Dec 8. There will be no quiz over DNA sequencing; however, the material will still appear on the final exam.
Tues, Dec 2: Students finished the DNA sequencing notes, completed the Internet activity, “That BLASTn DNA!”, and read an electropherogram.
Mon, Dec 1: Mrs. Annee reviewed for the DNA Extraction and Quantification quiz on Wednesday, Dec 3 and announced a quiz over DNA sequencing will take place on Mon, Dec 8. Students took notes over DNA sequencing in each class. Students in periods 1 and 5 began the Internet activity called, “That BLASTn DNA!”
