Fri, Oct 26: Students completed the ELISA lab.

Thurs, Oct 25: Students watched Designer Babies (the blog post is due Tues, Oct 30).

Wed, Oct 24: Students began the ELISA lab.

Tues, Oct 23: Mrs. Annee returned the Unit 1 quizzes and showed an ELISA simulation to students.

Mon, Oct 22: Students watched a brief video about Laura Rothenberg, students completed and submitted the Got Protein? lab, and Mrs. Annee gave a pre-lab lecture about the ELISA lab.

Oct 8-12: Proteins

Fri, Oct 12: While Mrs. Annee attended a conference, students watched Three Sisters: Search for a Cure.

Thurs, Oct 11: Mrs. Annee finished discussing the books on the extra credit book list.

Wed, Oct 10: Students prepared serial dilutions for milk samples and loaded a vertical gel with the samples (Got Protein? lab).

Tues, Oct 9: Students prepared serial dilution diagrams for the Got Protein? lab.

Mon, Oct 8: Students wrote their final reflection for the Cellulosic Ethanol small group scored discussion.  Mrs. Annee discussed the quiz (Unit 1 notes, etc. that will take place on Mon, Oct 15.

Oct 1-5: Proteins

Fri, Oct 5 – Students participated in a small group scored discussion about celluosic ethanol.

Thurs, Oct 4 – Students in period 4 and 8 completed and submitted the Protein Folding lab.  Students in periods 2 and 6 completed data collection for the Got Protein? lab.

Wed, Oct 3 – Students in periods 4 and 8 conducted the Protein Folding lab, whereas students in periods 2 and 6 collected data for the Got Protein
