Wed, Apr 24: Students who were absent on Fri, Apr 19 (senior skip day) took the restriction mapping quiz.

Tues, Apr 23: Students continued analysis of the “Analysis of a Genome Segment” lab.

Mon, Apr 22: Students ran gels for the “Analysis of a Mutant Hemoglobin Gene” lab.  Also, students began analysis of the “Analysis of a Genome Segment” lab.

Apr 15-19: Restriction Enzymes

Fri, Apr 19: Students took the Restriction Mapping quiz.

Thurs, Apr 18: Students completed and submitted the “Anatomy and Evolution of the Genome” lab.  Also, students set up restriction digests for the “Analysis of a Mutant Hemoglobin Gene” lab.

Wed, Apr 17: Mrs. Annee gave students a self-quiz over restriction mapping.  Students continued analysis of the “Anatomy and Evolution of the Genome” lab.

Tues, Apr 16: Students finished watching My Sister’s Keeper (the blog reflection is due Tues, Apr 23).

Mon, Apr 15: Mrs. Annee went over the Restriction Mapping Practice Problems III and distributed a fourth set of practice problems in preparation for Friday’s quiz.  Students began analysis of the “Anatomy and Evolution of the Genome” lab.

Tues, Apr 9: Students completed and Mrs. Annee discussed Restriction Mapping Problems II.  Students began working on Restriction Mapping Practice Problems III.  Mrs. Annee announced that students will take a restriction mapping quiz on Apr 19.

Mon, Apr 8: Students prepared samples for the Analysis of a Genome Segment lab and continued working on Restriction Mapping Practice Problems II.
