  2. Assuming the electrophoresis buffer has a pH of 8.6, which group of serum proteins has the lowest isoelectric point?  How do you know?
  3. Study the results of the following gel:

What was loaded in lane 1?  What samples were loaded in lanes 2-4?  What was the purpose of loading these samples in lanes 2-4?
