Fri, Sept 2 (Day 1): Students took a quiz over solutions, micropipettes, and equipment.

Thurs, Sept 1 (Day 5): Students took a self-quiz over solutions and began the Enzyme-Substrate Simulation activity.

Wed, Aug 31 (Day 4): Students in periods 3, 5, and 7 completed the Biotech Equipment lab (students in period 1 did not have class due to the mandatory senior class meeting).

Tues, Aug 30 (Day 3): Ms. Annee discussed Friday’s quiz over micropipettes, solutions, and equipment.  Students downloaded Graphical Analysis and took a solutions self-quiz.

Mon, Aug 29 (Day 2): Students continued working on the Biotech Equipment lab.

Fri, Aug 26 (Day 1, Altered Schedule): Students began the Biotech Equipment lab.

Thurs, Aug 25 (Day 5): Students completed the Solutions lab.

Wed, Aug 24 (Day 4): Students began the Solutions lab.

Tues, Aug 23 (Day 3): Students completed Parts A & B of the Micropette lab.

Mon, Aug 22 (Day 2): Students took a quiz over the DNA Necklace lab.  Students in periods 1 and 5 also began Part A of the Micropipette activity.

Fri, Aug 19 (Day 1): Ms. Annee taught students how to use the micropipettor.

Thurs, Aug 18 (Day 5): Ms. Annee discussed her biotech adventures and lab safety.

Wed, Aug 17 (Day 4): Ms. Annee discussed the purpose of each major step in the DNA Necklace lab and announced there will be an 18 point quiz over the lab on Mon, Aug 22.

Tues, Aug 16 (Day 3): Students completed the DNA Necklace lab.

Mon, Aug 15 (Day 2): Students completed paperwork.

Fri, Aug 12: Mrs. Annee discussed class policies and engaged in discussion about the typical demands of students.

Thurs, Aug 11: Students watched a 10-min reprise of Dr. Randy Pausch’s “The Last Lecture” and wrote a reflection. Students also completed the “Honors Biotech Student Survey.”
